Agile QA Test Lead - Contract Role
6-Month rolling / long-term contract opportunity
Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)
Stelfox is hiring an experienced Agile QA Test Lead for a leading client based in Dublin.
About the Role
You will act as a QA leader and Agile Quality Coach, embedded within fast-paced Scrum teams. As the sole QA representative, you will champion quality practices, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Agile QA/Test Coach to improve product quality
- Serve as the primary QA within Scrum teams
- Coach teams on exploratory testing, risk-based testing, and test design
- Perform in-development and pair testing with engineers
- Lead QA process improvements and act as a change agent
- Monitor quality metrics and production outcomes
- Collaborate on test automation strategy and regression coverage
- Facilitate mob testing sessions for high-risk features
- Contribute to story refinement and estimation
- Identify and resolve defects, risks, and performance issues
Technical Skills
- Strong background in QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Solid understanding of test design and execution
- Experience with test automation strategies and coverage
- Experience working in a .NET / Microsoft environment (highly desirable)
- Mobile and tablet testing across multiple OS platforms
- Good SQL knowledge
