Infrastructure & Cloud
Multiple award winning company currently requires an experienced Linux Cloud engineer. My client are scaling up their production infrastructure, involving a phased migration of their complete infrastructure to AWS. This involves migrating from a hosted off-premises solution to a fully integrated AWS cloud solution. This upgrade will give an increased focus on site reliability, security and scalability, to manage our rapid growth. It will also help with our continuous deployment strategy.
The Opportunity here is that most AWS/Infrastructure roles focus on maintenance or enhancement of a pre-existing stack. This role gives you a chance to work with Senior engineers to help them define and implement an AWS/Cloud infrastructure best practice.
On a day-to-day basis your job will involve working in their DevOps team, being involved in all phases of the migration including analysis of current situation and ways to migrate, establishing best practice and implementation guidelines. Interact with the Architecture, Development, DBA and Infrastructure teams to help them define interoperability across systems and processes.
