Stelfox has partnered with one of the world’s largest and most recognized names in the Investment Banking and Financial Services industry.
Our global client has a large presence in the Irish market with over 450 employees, including 100+ across its technology division.
The company is currently building sophisticated Cloud Security enterprise solutions from scratch and is seeking talented Cloud Software Engineers to join this newly established team.
They are keen to speak to dedicated Software Engineers (Senior/ Principal/ Tech Lead) with relevant programming and cloud-computing experience interested in becoming a founding team member of a greenfield project.
What you’ll be doing:
- Engage and improve the whole lifecycle of services – from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement
- Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software/tooling solutions
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
- Perform design and code reviews
- Develop and build solutions relating to Cloud Environment Governance and Protection, Auditing, Monitoring, Remediation and Reporting
- Design, develop and improve services to scale as the firm’s cloud usage grows.
What you need:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency and hands-on development experience within AWS, Azure, GCP, or other Public Cloud environments
- Min. 4 years experience in developing enterprise software and proficiency in Java and/ or Python
- CI/CD experience utilizing tools such as GitHub, Jenkins etc.
- Practical exposure with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions such as Terraform and CloudFormation
- Hands-on experience in Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, ELK stacks, etc
- Experience with development methodologies, e.g., Agile
- Work independently and collaborate within a team to develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Bonus points – Professional Cloud Certifications such as AWS Developer Associate, AWS Solutions Architect Associate
Work location: Hybrid Work Model with 2 days per week from the Dublin 2 office
