Cloud Solution Architect – (AWS) – IoT Cloud Platform

They now have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Cloud Solution Architect to join their established R&D Hub based in Dublin city.

Here the Cloud Solution Architect will be part of a dedicated team responsible for delivering a new IoT-based Cloud Orchestration platform.

As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will:

• Be directly involved at all stages of development – Planning, Designing, Maintaining, Deployment
• Translate business ideas into cloud solution architecture
• Engage with key Stakeholders (Business Leaders, Enterprise Architect, Product Owners, Engineering Leads, etc.) to evaluate requirements and build advanced customer solutions
• Define and refine the enterprise architecture standards
• Provide continuous improvement of architectural standards and guidelines, ensuring quality, security, and legal guidelines for robust, high-quality code
• Develop Proofs-of-Concept to evaluate and prove new techniques
• Participate and contribute as a member of the Enterprise Architecture Board at weekly meetings

What you need:

• BSc. / MSc. in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years experience as an Architect working with large-scale enterprise systems
• 5+ years experience as a software engineer creating world-class applications/solutions
• Advanced knowledge of C# programming and .NET Frameworks (.NET Core is highly desirable)
• Expert knowledge of AWS Cloud, AWS Serverless, Containers, Microservices, REST APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases
• Strong understanding of OOA/OOD Principles, Mult-Threading Design Patterns, and Distributed Systems
• Experience with Test-driven development, continuous integration and deployment with a clear understanding of deployment and monitoring frameworks
• Must have a passion for optimizing business solutions to deliver optimal customer-centric solutions
• Must have a strong analytical mindset and be a quick learner
• Fluent English communication skills
