Stelfox has partnered with a leading real-time digital supply chain solutions provider as it continues to build out its high-performing product engineering team.
This U.S-owned technology company recently secured a multimillion-dollar financial investment and is continuing to expand its Irish-based product development and data engineering functions.
Our client is currently hiring for a talented Front-End Developer to join their established development team. The Development team is responsible for the fast-paced delivery of products using the latest Front-end technologies and develops user-facing features using React.js, React Native, and Flutter.
Here, you will be responsible for ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency, and maintaining brand consistency across all web pages, among other duties.
You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
As a Front-End Developer, you will be writing and maintaining beautiful, working, timely, idiomatic code that gets the job done. You will also participate in code reviews and help increase the code quality companywide.
What you’ll be doing:
- Maintaining code using the latest UI technologies
- Optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency
- Working with UX Designers to turn designs into technical implementations
- Participating in regular code reviews
- Supporting and guiding other engineers in the team.
What you need:
- Min. 3 years of commercial experience
- Min. BSc. in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles (OOD, SOLID, Design Patterns, etc.)
- Excellent working knowledge of JavaScript, React.js. React Native
- Familiar with other modern web frameworks such as TypeScript, Node.js, Ruby on Rails is a bonus
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
