Lead PL/SQL Engineer

Lead Software Engineer (PL/SQL) – Hybrid (Dublin) – Rolling daily rate contract

Stelfox are partnered with a leading organisation in Financial Services who operate in global markets. We are looking to hire a contractor on a long term rolling contract – initial 6 month contract. Our client operate out of a hybrid model and would ideally look for someone who has strong competencies working as part of a team, without relying on guidance from others.

Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and driving the engineering approach across their team, and providing high-level technical guidance to software engineers working on complex technical solutions.

Preferred skills

• Proven track record designing & developing enterprise scale PL/SQL solutions.
• Experience at Tech Lead/ Principal level for large PL/SQL-focused teams.
• Previous demonstrated experience creating reusable products that can be leveraged in multiple instances
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities
• Recent experience with PL/SQL unit testing
• Exposure to modern Big data tools and CI/CD technologies.
