QA Automation Engineer with C# & AWS

Based in Dublin city, their R&D centre specialises in building new software solutions and products to advance their existing Trailer technology.

The R&D Site Leader is now actively seeking a talented QA Automation Engineer to become part of their established engineering team delivering complex, saas-based solutions from POC to production. 

Our client is looking for a QA Engineer with a genuine appreciation for testing backend systems (performance, load/stress), API testing, testing apps/services running on the cloud, etc.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working with the Product team to build products from proof of concept to production
• Plan and coordinate testing efforts with remote QA teams for cross-functional dependencies
• Build, maintain & automate, regression and acceptance test scenarios in integration
• Interpret test results, Identify, debug, diagnose and report bugs to the Development team
• Develop test plans and testware for the product suite & build performance suites
• Testing dashboards, providing regular status updates against the test plans

What you need:

• Computer Science degree or equivalent
• Strong “hands-on” QA testing and automation experience on testing frameworks and industry-standard tools
• Good understanding of cloud hosting technologies and strong logic & script programming skills
• A strong understanding of C# programing language is a must-have requirement 
• Solid exposure to AWS Cloud architecture especially AWS Serverless framework
• Experience with SQL & NoSQL, and in testing REST APIs on microservices using Postman
• Detail-oriented with a deep understanding of engineering best practices
• Process-oriented while capable of managing different project priorities in an agile environment
