Senior Axiom Technical Analyst/Developer – Contractor Role

We are looking for a Senior Axiom Technical Analyst/Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Axiom Technical Analyst/Developer, you will have a unique opportunity to work on critical projects within Finance Tech and play a key role in building business-critical systems that emphasize stability and performance.

 

Job Description:

As a Senior Axiom Technical Analyst/Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing Axiom solutions that help solve complex business problems. You will be working closely with business users, business analysts, and development colleagues to provide best-in-class regulatory reporting solutions.

This client offers excellent daily rates and a 6 month initial contract with a view to extending/long term contracts. This role is remote within Ireland however the client does expect to return to a hybrid working model in the future.

 

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Axiom solutions to help solve complex business problems.

• Work closely with business users, business analysts, and development colleagues to provide best-in-class regulatory reporting solutions.

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical designs.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation for Axiom solutions.

• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of projects.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.

 

What you need:

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

• 3+ years working in Axiom ControllerView CVv9 / CVv10.

• Intermediate to advanced level in Oracle PL/SQL.

• Knowledge of EU regulatory reporting requirements (COREP/FINREP/AnaCredit/Statistical).

• Understanding of financial products and asset classes.

• Familiarity with XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language).

• Agile development experience.

In addition to the qualifications above, the ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment. You should also be able to work independently, manage your workload effectively, and prioritize tasks based on their importance.

 

Candidates must be based within Ireland for the duration of the contract.
