Stelfox is partnered with a global player within Financial services, risk Technology and payment Technologies to hire a talented Database Engineer on a 6 month rolling contract. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing data driven applications built on cutting edge Technology. A background in Financial Services would be advantageous.
Within this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing data workflow solutions using NoSQL and SQL based data stores to solve complex business problems. Work closely with a diverse team of stakeholders (business users) such as Business Analysts and development colleagues.
The role is fully remote but will move to a hybrid working model in the future (no timeline in place).
What you need:
- Experience building complex data workflow solutions that intertwine with different technology components.
- Comprehensive knowledge of NoSQL solutions – MongoDB preferred.
- Relational DB/ SQL Experience.
- Strong practical experience working with Data Modelling and data workflow design skills.
- Cloud native application design experience
