Senior Performance Engineer

Stelfox are partnered with a leading global provider of Insurance, pensions and asset management products/ services. This role is fully remote, on a 6 month rolling contract on daily rates with full intention to extend long term.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to run concurrent test projects, determine root causes of performance issues, create and maintain load test plans and test case documents and the ability to analyse vast amounts of test data.

What you need:

• Create, validate and maintain automated load tests scripts
• Experience identifying suitable load profiles for performance tests
• Experience designing and creating scenarios to ensure load KPIs are reached
• Ability to utilize variety of load and performance engineering toolsets including; LoadRunner Enterprise 2022, LoadRunner Vugen and Analysis, Neotys NeoLoad, Broadcom DXI SaaS APM tooling or similar, JMeter, Selenium, Splunk
• Analysis of and identification of performance issues in; Java applications, MSSQL and/or Oracle Databases, Front end applications developed with JavaScript technologies, AWS environments
• Experience with UNIX/Linux systems, Windows Servers, AWS
• Experience with JIRA, C, Java, SQL, HTML and CSS
• Trend analysis of Performance testing results
• Preferably previous development experience and experience tuning middleware and databases
• Experience with CI/DI tools such as CDD and Jenkins
• Ability to setup and maintain load testing infrastructure
