Job Opportunity: Senior Python Developer

My clients company specializes in the Fintech sector. They are looking for a talented Senior Python Developer to join their ever growing team.

What Responsibilities would you have?

•Design and develop scalable and robust software applications using Python and Django framework.

•Architect and implement data models, APIs, and backend services to support our SaaS platform.

•Utilize PostgreSQL and other database technologies to store, retrieve, and analyze data efficiently.

•Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality code.

•Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their growth and development.

•Collaborate with product management, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.

•Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

What background should you bring?

•Proven experience in software development, with expertise in Python, Django, and PostgreSQL as well as a strong understanding of cloud computing principles and experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) are a must.

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.

•Leadership experience, with the ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior team members.

•Proficiency in agile methodologies and experience working in an agile development environment.

•Experience with SaaS (Software as a Service) products is a plus.
