Senior Python Developer – Contract Opportunity

Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite, 2 Days Remote)
Contract: 6-Month Rolling (Long-Term Potential)
Rate: Competitive Daily Rate

Stelfox is seeking three experienced Senior Python Developers to join on a contract basis and play a key role in delivering high-impact, agile-driven projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop clean, maintainable, and well-tested code aligned with industry best practices.
• Design and implement scalable backend solutions using Python.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to optimise application efficiency.
• Contribute to code reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into robust, efficient technical solutions.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI teams to deliver seamless, user-focused features.

Required Skills & Experience

• Over 5 years of hands-on professional experience in Python development.
• Strong proficiency in Flask and Django frameworks.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational database systems.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible.
• Comfortable working in Linux/UNIX environments.
• Proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Experience working in Agile environments, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
