Our client is a leading digital banking platform provider. Their platform gives financial institutions the speed and flexibility to deliver far superior customer experiences with an increased set of digital capabilities all from one unified platform.

You will build state of the art web apps for our end users and internal bank users. The developer takes user stories and designs from product management and develops the feature in the web apps ensuring the code is maintainable, optimised and self-documenting. Security is one of the most important features of financial apps. The web developer implements all the required secure programming norms and techniques.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop and maintain web applications
• Implement design as provided by UI/UX
• Implement both functional and non-functional requirements
• Write unit tests
• Fix bugs with existing and new apps
• Optimise site performance

What you need:

• 3-5 years experience in a fast paced commercial environment.
• Proficient on modern frontend technology stack (HTML5, Angular, Typescript, CSS).
• Good knowledge of building high performing and available websites and how to apply page performance optimization techniques.
• Adept at building and maintaining cross browser/device compatible sites.
• Exposure or appreciation of agile development practices.
• Passionate about user experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent understanding of the coding standards required for high volume websites from a security and performance perspective.
