Software Engineer – SaaS Digital Business Platform

Stelfox has partnered with an exciting, rapidly growing SaaS-based Digital platform solution provider that is currently expanding its Centre of Excellence in Dublin city.

Large multinational companies across the Telecommunications, Media, Technology, and Automotive sectors utilise our client’s digital technology platform to create partner ecosystems that accelerate innovation, launch & monetise new services, and grow revenue at speed.

The Head of Centre of Excellence is currently hiring talented Software Engineers to join an established scrum team responsible for building back-end components/ services, delivering solutions across various customer projects, helping to reduce technical debt, and evolving the technology stack.

Other responsibilities include:

• Build software components that are robust, reliable, testable, and easy for other developers to understand
• Be a vocal contributor across software architecture, DevOps/CI/CD) and technology strategy
• Contribute to creating a team culture of transparency, growth, inclusiveness, and collaboration

What you need:

• 3rd level qualification in Computer Science or equivalent
• 2+ years experience in software engineering in Java and associated Spring Stack, GCP, CI/CD with Ansible and Maven
• A desire to build a great software product
• A strong focus on results i.e., getting things done
• Strategic thinking
• Flexibility in their approach to achieving strategic goals
• A bias towards action and a positive “can-do” attitude
• Experience working in an Agile environment, with a focus on continuous improvement
• Passion for and deep understanding of current trends in software engineering (Cloud Services, Serverless, Microservices, DevOps, Continuous Deployment, Cloud-native technologies)
• Google Cloud Professional Certification (desirable)
