Technical Lead Engineer – Oracle PL/SQL

Technical Lead Oracle PL/SQL – Contractor Role – Daily Rates

Stelfox have partnered with a global fintech organisation looking for a Technical Lead Oracle PL/SQL Engineer to join their team to work on existing and greenfield projects.

This client offers 6 month rolling / long term contracts and contractors must be based in Ireland for the duration of the contract. This role is hybrid with 3 days per week on-site.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Contribute to the creation of the architecture roadmap

Work across business and technology to create the solution design and architecture and evolve it based on an emerging backlog

Provide technical thought leadership based on experience building multiple software solutions

Contribute to the development of design and technology implementation best practices

Look for better ways to solve technical problems and design solutions

Ensure architecture is flexible, modular and designed to adapt easily

Facilitate solution-driven discussions and lead the design, finding creative solutions

Clarify the architecture and assist with system design (where needed) for the development teams to support implementation and resolve any architectural impediments

Core Skills:

Proven track record in solution architecture and design across multiple technologies with 10+ years’ software development experience.

Ability to build strong knowledge of products and services at functional and data level

Excellent technical skills with Oracle PL/SQL and good knowledge of emerging technologies

Experience with data technologies and understanding of metadata and data lineage concepts

Experience of interfacing with 3rd party vendor platforms

Exposure to Cloud technologies

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Good communication skills
