They now have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Technical Product Owner to join their established R&D Hub based in Dublin city.
Here the Technical Product Owner will be part of a dedicated team responsible for designing and delivering a cutting-edge IoT-based Cloud Orchestration platform, will work closely with a Cloud Solution Architect on defining the product vision and planning the future roadmap, and will engage with internal stakeholders across the business, including multiple technical teams in various locations.
Responsibilities
- Define User Stories and Acceptance Criteria ensuring they meet user’s needs and comply with the Definition Done
- Manage the product backlog and prioritising them based on changing requirements
- Define and promote a clear vision of what the product’s future should be like
- Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development
- Proactively provide customer and business context to the engineering team
What you need:
- Degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- 2+ years experience working as a Product Owner in a Scrum team
- Previous “hands-on” software engineering experience with back-end applications
- Strong knowledge of Microservices, Serverless, and Event-driven cloud solution development, NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, Mongo), Services development (REST and SOAP)
- Proven ability in having deep technical discussions with engineering when required, while understanding that the Product Owner’s real value is business acumen, strategic thinking, and precisely informed perspectives; never losing sight of customer’s needs, when they need it, and why
Work Location:
Flexible working options, on-site at a modern Dublin city office, remote working from a home office or a hybrid work option.
