Tech News around the World
This week’s News bring Stelfox to some trending tech locations, taking in industry developments in a Digital Network as far dispersed as Spain and Singapore.
We will begin our journey in Tech Capital of Berlin, a core part of our network, with two innovative tech solutions that are making the headlines.
Omio, the multi-modal travel booking app (based out of Berlin) has raised €83.7 million in funding, and at a time where travel options are limited their innovative team are seeking ways to build a ‘comprehensive booking database’. This is of particular interest for the Rail sector, which unlike other forms of transport and travel (such as hotels and air travel) is not as interactive and interlinked across different operators.
Certainly one to watch across Europe, as we reassess our travel requirements and look for value.
Apheris, a deeptech startup also based out of Berlin has increased Investment Capital by €2.5 million in their service which provides for the sharing of corporate data, without compromising on privacy.
Their technology will allow for the secure sharing of data, using ‘decentralised computing, federated learning and cryptographic protocols’.
A very interesting piece of tech news, which will cater to collaboration and learning & development amongst organisations spread throughout the globe.
From their regional base in Singapore, the US Startup IntSights who specialise in external threat protection platforms are looking toward market advancement in Asia Pacific, seeking partners and a greater network to stem cyber threats and implement cyber intelligence solutions.
New forms of Detection
And concluding our our glimpse into Tech News this week, Madrid’s Pibisi seeks to utilise Cloud-based solutions in the area of Money Laundering Detection, having raised € 140,000 in initial funding.
One to watch when compliance is a necessity for companies, organisations and individuals of all types.
