Job description
Stelfox is exclusively partnering with a B2B SaaS Technology provider (eCommerce / event driven platform for online ordering / delivery industry) who are entering Dublin for the first time to establish a presence in Ireland as well as impact their technology vision across the wider company.
As part of this new team build out, we will be looking for a Chief Technical Officer (CTO) for the company to be positioned in Dublin and report into the Group CEO of the organisation.
This CTO will lead the technology strategy, ensuring the core B2B platform remains innovative, scalable and secure. You will oversee the development of new features, optimise system performance and align technology initiative with business/commercial goals.
Core Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the company's technological vision (develop a long-term tech roadmap for the business).
- Create / build an elite engineering team/function in Dublin and drive software innovation via Ireland.
- Lead the development of new features/innovation across the tech org.
- Oversee Cloud architecture, security and system reliability.
- Work with executive stakeholders, Product Management and other leaders across the organisation to align on commercial goals.
Preferred experience:
- Proven experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering or equivalent in a tech-driven company (like eCommerce, Food tech, Fintech etc).
- Previous experience/background in Software engineering / Software architecture utilising modern tech stacks (Nodejs/Typescript/JS / React Native or equivalent).
- Experience with cloud-native architecture is preferred - AWS
- Strong management, mentoring and coaching capability across a software engineering function.
