Senior Python Developer – Contract Role
Stelfox is partnering with a leading Dublin-based client undergoing rapid team expansion. We are seeking multiple experienced Senior Python Developers to join on a contract basis and contribute to high-impact, agile-driven projects.
Contract Type: 6-Month Rolling (Long-Term Opportunity)
Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite, 2 Days Remote)
Rate: Competitive Daily Rate
Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable code following best practices.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to deliver intuitive features.
- Design and develop scalable backend systems using Python.
- Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Optimise application performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks.
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Strong proficiency in Flask and Django frameworks.
- Proven ability to build and maintain RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools: Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible.
- Comfortable working in Linux/UNIX environments.
- Agile development experience with excellent communication skills.
