Head of Data Architecture & Analytics
Stelfox is partnering with a SaaS Fintech provider who are looking to hire an experienced Data Architecture & Analytics Leader to help play a pivotal role in transforming the organisations data capability.
This role will report into the CTO and act as a foundational role responsible for defining & deliverying modern, scalable enterprise data architecture & analytics infrastructure that can serve both internal operational departments as well as enterprise clients.
You will act as a key architect and change agent in the establishment of next-generation data lake/warehouse ecosystem and enterprise data visualisation & analytics platform.
Some of the key elements we are looking for in the preferred candidate:
- Strong ability to at translating business requirements into clear data / analytics strategies, roadmaps and key initiatives.
- Drive the evolution and architecture from a legacy reporting-focused systems to a modern, governed, scalable and business-aligned enterprise data platform.
- Establish a modern Cloud Data warehouse, selecting the appropriate platform (example - Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift etc)
- Drive the design and establishment of a future-state data visualisation & business intelligence ecosystems - BI toolings, analytics patterns, governance, enforcing data architecture standards and best practices across the organisation.
- Collaborate with operations and infosec teams to ensure data platforms meet regulatory and security requirements standards (GDPR, SOC2 etc).
This role in the early stages of its maturity, will focus heavily on the architecture side, leading a small Data engineering team and owning the overall Data strategy, architecture, standards, governmance and execution for the organisation.
The role will operate at Director/VP grade with a direct reporting line to the CTO, so you will have high autonomy in the definition and overall execution of the company's data strategy.
