QA Engineer – Cork

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct testing on websites and APIs, with a strong emphasis on automation, to ensure that new features meet initial requirements and perform at the highest standard.
  • Manage test and staging environments to facilitate comprehensive testing under both real-world and hypothetical conditions.
  • Advocate for a culture of quality throughout the entire development process.
  • Collaborate with various teams, including DevOps, third-party technical partners, and deployments, to contribute to the growth and success of their small but expanding team.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a quality assurance analyst or engineer in a product development setting.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and its principles.
  • Proficiency in bug tracking and reporting tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience with test automation tools, including ReadyAPI, Python, and some Groovy Scripting for API testing.
  • Ideally, familiarity with AWS and JavaScript.
  • An adaptable mindset for working with a diverse range of technologies.
  • The ability to quickly learn and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
