Job description

Quality Assurance Lead

 Dublin – Hybrid ( 3 days a week onsite)

We’re looking for an experienced QA Lead to join a specialist technology team delivering high-impact software solutions in a highly regulated, data-driven environment. This is a senior, hands-on role where you will take ownership of quality across the full delivery lifecycle while building and maturing a QA function.

If you have led QA in complex SaaS or financial systems, enjoy working closely with product and engineering teams, and want to influence delivery quality at a strategic level, this role offers a strong next step.

As QA Lead, you will be accountable for test execution, release readiness, and the evolution of QA processes. You’ll collaborate closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring new functionality meets expectations and is delivered on time and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of functional testing, ensuring alignment with documented requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Own end-to-end test completion for new functionality, including regression coverage and go-live readiness.
  • Identify, log, track, and drive resolution of defects through to closure.
  • Communicate testing outcomes clearly and effectively with development and product teams.
  • Partner with Product to ensure clarity and shared understanding of expected functionality.
  • Ensure testing activities are completed in line with planned release schedules.
  • Proactively identify product improvements and opportunities to enhance QA processes and practices.
  • Contribute to building and scaling a robust QA testing function, including tools, processes, and resourcing where required.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven QA Lead or senior QA experience within a financial, SaaS, or technology-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of QA best practices across functional, regression, and release testing.
  • Experience working with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Scrum, or Kanban.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a hands-on approach to testing.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working closely with cross-functional teams.

If you are passionate about Tech and looking to thrive in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.
