Senior Python Developer – Contract Opportunity

Stelfox is partnering with a leading Dublin-based organisation currently expanding its technology team. We are seeking three experienced Senior Python Developers to join on a contract basis and play a key role in delivering high-impact, agile-driven projects.

Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite, 2 Days Remote)
Contract: 6-Month Rolling (Long-Term Potential)
Rate: Competitive Daily Rate

Key Responsibilities

Develop clean, maintainable, and well-tested code aligned with industry best practices.
Design and implement scalable backend solutions using Python.
Translate business requirements into robust, efficient technical solutions.
Collaborate closely with UX/UI teams to deliver seamless, user-focused features.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to optimise application efficiency.
Contribute to code reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of hands-on professional experience in Python development.
Strong expertise in Flask and Django frameworks.
Solid understanding of SQL and relational database systems.
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools, including Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Ansible.
Comfortable working within Linux/UNIX environments.
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
Experience working in Agile environments with strong communication and collaboration skills.
