Senior Programme Manager (Banking) – Contracting Position

Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid – 3 days on-site, 2 remote per week – non-negotiable)
Contract Type: 6-Month Rolling Contract

Stelfox is hiring for one of our key clients in Dublin, seeking a Senior Programme Manager. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact delivery projects while also providing business analysis and PMO support across large-scale programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Programme Management & Delivery

  • Build and manage relationships with business project managers and stakeholders.
  • Develop delivery plans, budgets, and governance materials.
  • Track and report on RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
  • Resolve conflicts and ensure alignment across teams.
  • Ensure project artefacts meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters and delivery teams to maintain progress and accountability.

Process Improvement

  • Support and execute initiatives to improve delivery processes and methodologies.

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

  • Work closely with developers, testers, and business stakeholders.
  • Gather and document functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Produce detailed project artefacts and test strategies.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams.
  • Participate in testing and validation activities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 7 years of project management experience, with 3+ years in business analysis.
  • Proven track record in delivering complex projects within financial services.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, business processes, and terminology.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycles.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Degree/master’s or equivalent experience.

Bonus Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with software development or technical delivery.
  • Familiarity with test case design and execution.
  • Experience preparing governance packs and executive-level reporting.
