Senior Python Developer – Contract Positions x4 - Start April/May 2025
Stelfox has partnered with a global fintech organization seeking four Senior Python Developers to join their team for both existing and new projects. The Senior Python Developer will be responsible for designing and developing web-based Python solutions to address complex business challenges. You will collaborate closely with business users, business analysts, and fellow developers to create top-tier risk management solutions.
As part of a global team, the company utilizes a diverse range of technologies. They operate in an Agile environment and are continuously looking to improve their processes, placing a strong emphasis on exploring new technologies. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right developer to advance their career within a rapidly growing team.
The client offers 6-month rolling and long-term contracts, with contractors required to be based in Ireland for the duration. The working model is hybrid, with three days on-site and two days remote each week.
Required Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of Python.
- Strong relational database/SQL experience.
- CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Experience with larger applications using microservices and containers.
- Strong Linux/UNIX expertise.
- Background building RESTful web APIs using Python frameworks such as Flask, Django.
- ORMs (object relational mappers) like SQLAlchemy.
