Senior Python Developer – Contract Role

Stelfox is partnering with a leading Dublin-based client undergoing rapid team expansion. We’re hiring multiple experienced Senior Python Developers to join on a contract basis and contribute to impactful, agile-driven projects.

Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite, 2 Days Remote)
Contract Type: 6-Month Rolling (Long-Term)
Rate: Competitive Daily Rate

Key Responsibilities

Write clean, maintainable code aligned with best practices.
Design and develop scalable backend systems using Python.
Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Collaborate with UX/UI teams to deliver intuitive features.
Optimise application performance and resolve bottlenecks.
Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement efforts.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of professional Python development experience.
Strong proficiency in Flask and Django frameworks.
Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools: Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible.
Comfortable working in Linux/UNIX environments.
Proven ability to build and maintain RESTful APIs.
Agile development experience with excellent communication skills.
