Job description
Stelfox is partnering with a Fintech SaaS provider in Dublin City who are looking to hire two Senior software engineers as they look to completely modernise the backend platform services built on Python/Django to introducing Profocol buffers into their architecture to support future scaling of their environment.
You will get involved in designing, developing and delivery highly scalable, reliable and performance application, as well as act as a Tech lead within a squad as the team is re-organised for this product modernisation initiative.
We're looking for people with an appetite for learning, and the following core skillset:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in software development, with expertise in Python, microservices, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL as well as a strong understanding of cloud computing principles are a must.
- Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS) is desired.
- Bonus points if you are comfortable working with Protocol buffers.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior team members.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies and experience working in an agile development environment.
- Experience with Neo4j or other graph database is a strong plus.
- Experience with SaaS (Software as a Service) products is a plus.
