Product Owner

Stelfox is partnering with a client in the finance industry who are looking for a talented Product Owner to join their team in Cork. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on modern applications, gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies, and continue developing their skills.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own the end-to-end delivery of customer solutions – from defining epics and user stories through to successful user acceptance.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with customer needs, business outcomes, and project timelines.
• Act as the primary interface between customers, product management, software development, and sales – translating business needs into actionable product requirements.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and proactively resolve risks or deviations.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and project profitability, building trusted long-term relationships.
• Contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing, transparency, and continuous improvement across their product.

What You Bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field.
• 2-5+ years of experience as a Product Owner in a SaaS based company.
• Strong experience working with Agile management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Solid understanding of software development processes and Agile delivery practices.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and resolving conflicts.
• A proactive, outcome-driven mindset with strong self-management skills.
