Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer – Contract Role | Dublin (Hybrid)

Stelfox is partnering with a leading client in Dublin to hire a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer for a long-term contract opportunity.

Location: Dublin, Ireland
Working Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 remote – non-negotiable)
Duration: 6-month rolling contract

The Role

As a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality solutions within a Finance Technology environment. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and enhance critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop enhancements and drive architectural improvements across existing systems
• Troubleshoot and support application components as needed
• Collaborate with development teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Work closely with Product Owners and Business Analysts to deliver and sign off on user stories
• Contribute to application design, regression test automation, and efficiency initiatives
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies

Technical Skills Required

• Strong experience with Oracle (10g, 11g, 12c, or 19c)
• Expertise in PL/SQL procedures and functions development
• Solid understanding of OO design principles and architectural patterns
• Proven experience in SQL performance tuning
• Excellent communication skills with experience working across global teams
• Proactive mindset with strong ownership and problem-solving abilities

Nice to Have

• Python, UNIX/Linux, C#/.NET (Windows apps), Git/Bitbucket, Quartz, Agile/Scrum, financial systems experience, accounting/GL knowledge, automated testing, or SQL Server.
