Senior Oracle PL / SQL Developer - Contract roles

Stelfox is looking for a passionate Senior Oracle PL / SQL Developer to join one of our clients based in Dublin, Ireland.

It is a 6-month rolling and long-term contract, with contractors required to be based in Ireland for the duration. The working model is hybrid, with three days on-site and two days remote each week (non-negotiable). Competitive daily rate.

Core skills:

  • 10+ years of software development and delivery management experience
  • Strong technical expertise: Oracle, PL/SQL, Informatica, Angular, Java, Spring, Autosys
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and integration with 3rd-party vendor platforms
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
  • Skilled in building reusable, enterprise-level components
  • Proven leadership in guiding technical teams through design and implementation
  • Strong collaboration with business and technology stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and JIRA
  • Experience in large organisations and financial services environments
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Advanced Oracle PL/SQL database development experience
  • Familiar with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks
  • Proficient in Linux and shell scripting
