Senior Release Manager - Daily Rate Contract - Hybrid (Dublin)

Urgently looking for a Senior Release Manager for one of the clients based in Dublin.

6-month initial contract term, rolling / long-term contract

Excellent daily rate

Hybrid 3 days on-site and 2 days remote each week

Role:

You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end release process, ensuring smooth coordination, deployment, and resolution of any issues related to lower lane and production releases. This position requires extensive experience in release management, branching strategies, and deployment processes. As the Release Manager, you will guide and advise the teams while ensuring alignment with best practices and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and manage releases from development to production.
Coordinate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth releases.
Advise development and DevOps teams on environment usage and deployments.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with releases.
Develop and maintain release schedules.
Monitor and report on release progress.
Implement and improve release management processes.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Facilitate stakeholder communications, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the release process.

Qualifications:

Minimum 6 years of proven experience in release management or a similar role.
Excellent project management and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with release management tools and software.
