Senior Data Engineer x 3 – Contracting Position

Stelfox is looking for 3 x Senior Data Engineers to join one of our clients based in Ireland

6-months initial contract term, rolling / long-term contract

Competitive daily rate

Working model: Hybrid

Role:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure data and analytics solutions aligned with business goals
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to deliver data-informed strategies and solutions
  • Lead full SDLC execution and continuous improvement using Agile practices
  • Build and maintain advanced, testable, and reusable data products
  • Perform data analysis, solution design, development, testing, and integration
  • Troubleshoot and enhance existing data systems
  • Mentor team members and incorporate external data to enrich datasets

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Requires BS/BA degree or equivalent experience. 
  • 8+ years’ experience in data-driven technical roles.
  • Proficient in SQL (5+ years) and R/Python (3+ years)
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, SSIS, etc.
  • Experience with BI tools including Tableau, SSRS, Power BI, QuickSight, Business Objects, LOGI, etc.
  • Experience with MPP databases and Snowflake (preferred)
  • Experience with Dataiku (preferred)
  • Experience with Web Application Development (preferred)
  • Experience with AWS (preferred)
