Senior IT Project Manager – Infrastructure – Contract Role

Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid – 3 days on-site, 2 days remote per week)

Contract: 12 months Initial term

Stelfox is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager for one of our leading clients based in Dublin.

We are looking for a professional with a proven track record in delivering and managing large-scale IT infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing network and data centre hardware upgrades.

In this role, you will lead an integrated project team comprising internal technical resources and third-party vendors, ensuring successful project execution from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute IT infrastructure projects from initiation to post-implementation.
• Manage risks, issues, and interdependencies across workstreams.
• Ensure adequate budget and resources to meet quality KPIs and timelines.
• Act as primary contact for stakeholders; maintain clear communication throughout.
• Implement governance and provide regular progress updates.
• Identify and escalate problems promptly.
• Lead change management for smooth transition to BAU.

Required Experience & Skills

• 7+ years in technology projects, 5+ years in project management.
• Strong background in network infrastructure and 24/7 operations.
• Proven ability to manage internal and vendor teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Skilled in MS Project, Jira, and hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery.
• PMP or IPMA certification preferred.
