JOB OPPORTUNITY: Software QA Engineer

 

My client is a fast-growing Fintech company in Cork and is looking for a Software QA Engineer to join their team. The role will start out more focused on Manual QA with the opportunity of moving into Automation.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Work with Test Team Lead to define a strategy for net new system and solutions being brought to market

• Implement and develop test practices for prioritised systems

• Identify and implement methodologies best suited to Empyrean Solutions

• Design and create test scripts for prioritised functionality for use in regression testing

• Execute and maintain these scripts when required

• Raising defects and following defect remediation through their lifecycle to ensure product quality.

• Participate in project planning to identify how automation can be used

• Develop and automation test scripts according to plan and maintain those throughout the product lifecycle
